Carl Oscar Malm (12 February 1826 Eura - 8 June 1863 Turku) was the developer of the Finnish sign language. He founded Finland's first school for the deaf in Porvoo. Malm himself was deaf.

A bust representing Malm (J. Talvia) was erected in 1926 on the site where the school for the deaf operated in Porvoo.
